eolos GmbH (www.eolos.org) is an industrial consulting and investment company, embedding environmental sustainability into daily business operations to reduce carbon emissions, industrial waste & virgin natural resources usage. We leverage the circular economy principles, which offer a science-based framework and opportunities to optimize flows by designing out waste, creating loops to retain the value of products and resources as long as possible.
eolos believes in “circular” regions as pivotal actors in accelerating the climate transition and would like to work with the Region of Crete and local stakeholders to co-design an integrated roadmap to create a “Circular Crete”, as well as to contribute to its implementation.

ENIRISST PLUS (+)
The main objective is to promote research outputs in the field of data management in the sector of transport. Special emphasis will be given to spatial analysis in order to improve the accessibility of remote regions such as Thrace. The special session is supported by Intelligent Research Infrastructure, Shipping, Supply Chain, Transport and Logistics Plus (EN.I.R.I.S.S.T.+) research project, which is co-financed by Greece and the European Union - European Regional Development Fund and consists of 4 partners (Educational Institutions). The EN.I.R.I.S.S.T.+ project is an extension of the unique national research infrastructure EN.I.R.I.S.S.T., in the fields of shipping, supply chain and transport in Greece, which is already successfully implemented.
The objectives of EN.I.R.I.S.S.T. PLUS are:
· Develop an intelligent research and business platform to provide information and support decisions on spatial economics and accessibility;
· Develop KPIs and Decision support tools towards passenger and freight accessibility through the critical infrastructure in region of Thrace;
· Support stakeholders in original research, investment plans and policies (academic community, researchers, infrastructure operators, private & public companies, policy makers)
· To promote the concept of sustainable development of critical infrastructure by reviewing issues on the base of circular economy and valuable investment on infrastructure.
